GT FISHING GREAT BARRIER REEF

The Great Barrier Reef lies off the eastern coast of Australia and offers more species to catch than any other location. Whether you like jigging for Dogtooth, popping for GTs or just cast small lures at Emperors and Queenfish, you could fish there your whole life and still wouldn’t get bored.
You can attempt to fish this area yourself but in the last few years there are some new charter companies besides Nomad Sportfishing which makes the whole experience of fishing the outer reefs reasonably affordable. We recommend natural decors for topwater fishing, as most of the spots are shallow and have a high visibility.
