GT Popping in Oman 

Oman is the destination if you want to go popping for monster GTs. Al-Hallanyiat, this name has become a synonym for monster GTs. During the last years there’s no spot worldwide which has produced more big fish than these islands, situated 50 Kilometres off the coast of Oman. However all factors have to be in place, otherwise it’s possible that even in the prime season you won’t land one GT. But the chance to land a 50kg+ GT are the highest of all the spots around the world. If that’s the case the Hallanyiats still offer a world class light-tackle fishery and jigging for Amberjack.
