Fishing in Portugal
Portugal offers a variety of interesting fishing opportunities for spin fishing and jigging along its more than 1000 kilometers of coastline. When fishing from the shore, the sea bass is the main prey, which occurs here in capital sizes. When jigging, you can’t avoid the red snapper (pargo), probably the Portuguese’s most popular angling fish. Further out there is the possibility of catching amberjacks and, if you are lucky, bluefin tuna.
