Fishing Cabo San Lucas

Named one of the top five fishing spots worldwide and considered the “Marlin Capital of the World”, Cabo San Lucas, offers  some of the best fishing in the world. Besides outstanding marlin fishing there are many interesting options for popping and jigging fishing. Depending on the season you can catch big Yellowfin offshore along with Mahi-Mahi, and there is some great inshore fishing for Roosterfish and Crevalle Jack. 

Best spots for fishing

• Golden Gate Bank – Offshore, great for Yellowfin & Marlin, both poppers and jigs.

• Gordo Banks – Deep structure, excellent for jigging + surface action (tuna, dorado).

• 1150 Bank – Offshore bank, good mix of pelagics, jigging & popping both productive.

• Finger Bank – Far offshore, top spot for Marlin & Tuna, heavy jigs & poppers work.

• San Jaime Bank – Drop-offs, good for jigging and surface strikes.

• Santa Maria Canyon / Chileno Drop – Inshore drop-offs, roosterfish & jacks on poppers.

• El Arco / Lands End – Rocks & structure close to shore, great for stickbaits/poppers.
