Jigging in Norway

Norway & fish – for many German anglers, the two are synonymous. Norway is by far the favorite destination of German anglers. Understandably so, as the journey is not particularly strenuous and the fish are plentiful. The cold north is not suitable for surface fishing, but jigging works excellently here. Slow jigging in particular is one of the most effective techniques for cod and co. With the right rod and reel, you can catch big fish on light tackle. Of course, the right slow jigs are also crucial for successful fishing. In addition, the coalfish is a fish that responds excellently to speed jigging. Spin fishing is also successful at the right time of year and offers the chance of catching sea trout and pollack.
