Fishing Eritrea
Eritrea is still a white spot on the map as far as fishing in the Red Sea is concerned. But especially the Dahlak Archipelago offers the angler a variety of possibilities. The angler has various fishing spots (reefs, lagoons, mangroves) at his disposal and therefore a wide range of fish species. When popping, it is mostly GTs, Coral Trouts and Barracudas that get on the hook. In addition there is a fantastic fishing from the shore for bluefin trevally, triggerfish and bohar snapper. Eritrea should be on your list if you enjoy super remote locations with virtually no fishing pressure.
