Fishing in the Ebro Delta

The Ebro-Delta is one of the richest fishing grounds in the Mediterranean and has been a popular fishing spot for decades. Since the return of the Bluefin Tuna it has been getting even more attention as the Delta provides one of the best fisheries for these hard fighting fish. Especially in autumn you have good chances to catch on topwater lures, additionally there is the possibility to cast for leerfish inside the delta. Jigging is a bit difficult as there is almost no structure, though every year big Amberjack and Dentex are caught in autumn. On top you can experience excellent fishing for bluefish and seabass from the shore. Fishing the river mouth provides you with the chance to catch real big leerfish during autumn!
