FISHING GIBRALTAR

The British enclave has become the topwater mecca in Europe, thanks to its special location. Every tuna which wants to spawn has to pass through the narrow Street of Gibraltar. So there’s no better spot for catching Bluefin Tuna on topwater lures and above all: the average size is phenomenal. Every year fish above 100 kilograms are landed! Fishing in Gibraltar is not limited to tuna fishing. Slow-Jigging also works pretty well, various Snappers and Dentex can be caught in the depths of the channel.
