GT Fishing Oman

When you think of GT fishing in Oman you probably have the monster GTs of the Hallanyiats in mind. But there is another top spot over there: Musandam. The peninsula isn’t called the Norway of Arabia for nothing: characteristic are the picturesque fjords on the peninsula. However in the fjords you will only catch small fish, as they’re the nursery. The spots for GT fishing are exclusively current spots on the top of the peninsula. These spots are productive when wind speed and direction are fitting. Because of the depth you need noisy poppers.
Speed Jigging is only productive in winter, slow jigging is the better option because of the shallow depth.
