Topwater fishing in Costa Rica
Costa Rica offers a distinctly diverse fishery on the Pacific Ocean. Whether you’re targeting Roosterfish, Crevalle Jacks or Cubera Snapper offshore or heading into the blue water for Yellowfin Tuna, Costa Rica offers a variety of options for topwater fishing. In addition to the topwater fishing options, there is also excellent jigging fishing. A colorful array of fish species can be caught here, including large amberjacks and snapper.
Offshore, mahi-mahi and yellowfin tuna are the most common fish species.
