Fishing in Palau
Palau is a small chain of islands in front of the Philippines. Thanks to its rigid fisheries policy, the fish stocks are still intact, unlike in other Asian countries. This is shown by the large number of fish that can be caught on the inner reef. With Light Tackle equipment one can experience real magic moments here.
Besides the excellent fishing at the inner reef, Palau offers a great fishing for GTs and other predators outside of this protected area. Mahi Mahis and Wahoos are the main prey for trolling, while large Dogtooth tunas provide screaming reels when jigging!
