Fishing in New Zealand
New Zealand is one of the world’s fishing paradises. The islands offer countless opportunities, especially for shore anglers. On the North Island of New Zealand there are probably the best places in the world to catch large yellowtail kingfish. In addition to Ranfurly Bank, the Three King Islands in particular offer incredible fishing, especially when it comes to jigging. However, New Zealand also has a lot to offer away from these spots and provides excellent fishing from the shore, as well as great fishing with surface lures on kahawai in the summer months.
