Jigging Cape Verde
The archipelago of Cape Verde is located 370 miles off the coast of Senegal and is known for its world-class marlin fishery. Though in the off-season, when the sea has calmed down, Cape Verde is a paradise for jigging enthusiasts. Many big fish have been caught around the steep edges of the islands and thus far the potential has only been scratched on the surface. Topwater fishing offshore is restricted to Tunas and inshore to horse-eye Jacks. Shore Fishing is kind of burdensome, though if you make it to down the cliffs the rewards can be high.
